Mor Aphrem Monastery

The monastery was built during the patriarchate of the late Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas and was inaugurated on the Feast of the Holy Cross, 14 September 1996. It serves as a monastery for the monks, the permanent home of St. Aphrem Theological Seminary, and a spiritual refuge for the faithful. The monastery includes the following spiritual facilities:
