Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary

Identity

Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary is the principal theological seminary of the Syriac Orthodox Church. Education at the seminary is rooted in Syriac and Oriental Orthodox Christian perspectives, while remaining open to other Christian traditions and religious backgrounds. It seeks to address the academic, cultural, and spiritual needs of students of philosophy and theology, equipping them with the essential religious knowledge required for ecclesiastical ministry and for advanced research in Scripture, theology, and Syriac studies.
